Suzee has been a dedicated school-based QTU Rep at multiple schools. She has championed teachers’ rights in relation to non-contact time and class sizes and has been a significant contributor to the running of Labour Day Celebrations on the Gold Coast. She has also been a member of the Gold Coast Area Council, President of her local QTU branch, a QTU State Conference Delegate and a reliable and diligent proxy for QTU State Council.
She is a vocal and incredibly active campaigner against domestic and family violence. A survivor herself, Suzee is commited to eliminating family and domestic violence and empowering individuals to make a positive difference. She has organised several White Ribbon events on the Gold Coast; and instituted White Ribbon celebrations/fundraising as part of the annual QTU Christmas in July.
