As a committed activist, Jenny made energetic contributions to the Gonski and Fair Funding Now! campaigns in the seat of Flynn, and she was passionate and determined in pursuing resourcing for students with disability (SWD).
Jenny, who is currently the head of special education services in the SEP at Biloela State School, is respected as an educator who has a genuine interest in the lives of the children who she teaches. She is a selfless volunteer with SWD athletics and swimming and supports local families in the Biloela community.
Within the QTU, Jenny is known for her wealth of knowledge in the SWD area, her ability to engage and develop other activists, and her common-sense approach to getting things done. She is a mentor to other Union Reps in her school, across her branch and within the Central Queensland Area Council.
