QuEST [Queensland Education Support and Training], the professional development arm of the QTU

QuEST delivers high quality professional development to teachers and school leaders across Queensland. Professional Development Officer, Rebecca Hack works closely with QTU officers, members and external providers to identify a suite of professional development programs that will meet the needs of our members right across this diverse state.

QuEST offers a range of programs, including face-to-face, on-demand, and live online programs. These are open to all members and as a not-for-profit initiative, QuEST aims to keep professional development affordable and operates on a cost recovery basis.

Live Online Courses 

QuEST is proud to offer you these high quality online professional development programs. These programs showcase best practice and are delivered by current classroom teachers.

On-Demand Courses 

This suite of high-quality short courses can be accessed anytime and are FREE to our subscribers! Prices for non-subscribers start from $30 (members) and $50 (non-members).

QuEST’s annual online subscription of $325 (for members) or $400 (for non-members), offers access to:

  • a suite of live professional development courses, ranging from 60 minutes to all-day programs, presented by teachers from around Australia,
  • a suite of recordings of previous live programs and
  • a suite of On-Demand online workshops.
     

These courses target priority areas for teachers, and offer a great opportunity for casual teachers to obtain their mandatory PD hours in an affordable way.

Participants in QuEST online courses and QuEST subscribers are able to revisit the course content by viewing the recordings made of the streamed content when available.
